Jnoad Ltd was appointed to deliver the strategic upgrade and resilience replacement of the Boosted Cold Water Service (BCWS) at 1 Churchill Place, a critical infrastructure serving a multi-storey commercial building. The existing system relied on a single riser pipe, which had shown signs of deterioration and offered no redundancy, presenting a risk of disruption to building services.
Following a detailed survey and design process, Jnoad Ltd installed two new high-pressure stainless steel risers (Risers B and C) alongside the original system, redistributing supply connections to balance flow rates and ensure uninterrupted service during maintenance or future modification works. Once operational, the existing riser (Riser A) was decommissioned and rebuilt using compliant materials.
All installation works adhered to the latest British Standards and Water Authority guidelines, with meticulous attention to pipe routing, material integrity, expansion design, valve control, and pressure regulation. The project was executed during out-of-hours periods to minimise disruption to occupants, with full commissioning, hydraulic testing, and documentation delivered to client satisfaction.

All risers were constructed using stainless steel Tru-Bore pipework with WRAS-approved fittings, offering superior corrosion resistance and compatibility with existing copper branches.
Flow demands were carefully recalculated for each branch connection, enabling evenly distributed pressure and efficient service delivery across all floors.
Installation required detailed structural surveys, phased commissioning, and night-time core drilling to avoid disruption—demonstrating Jnoad’s capacity to manage sensitive works in occupied high-rise environments.
